But then it explains what the whole idea is. Firstly we are talking about creating a community for learning. This means it is not confined to traditional students seeking accredited qualifications ( now of course accrediting bodies such as UGC and AICTE are themselves somewhat discredited). A number of distinguished speakers deliberated on the theme and covered ideas from Higher order thinking to the 4 pillars of Delors report and emphasized on communication including visual communiaction and numeracy.<br />the consensus was towards appreciating that everyone cannot be expected to have all the desirable skills, but different grouping of a set of skills can give succes in different spheres.
